Small Business Conferences 2015

Oftentimes small business owners may think that they are alone on their journey of business discovery and success. But in fact, many others have had very similar experiences. Conferences, seminars and workshops are designed for business professionals – beginner to expert – to share their past and present experiences and knowledge with one another. Check out some of the conferences scheduled for 2015 by location:

Held in 10 different cities – Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle – is this the Nation’s largest business to business trade show, networking event and conference for business owners and professionals. Thousands of decision makers and business owners come together to network, build professional relationships, acquire new skills from various workshops, and shop from vendors that offer unique products and services that can help business growth.

Forbes has dubbed this conference as a “must-attend” and rightfully so. It is one of the biggest international assemblies, bringing together some of the world’s most knowledgeable SEO, social media and content creation experts. Organic search marketing, online conversions and social media optimization are just a few topics of discussion at Pubcon. Austin and Las Vegas are the two host cities for 2015.

West Coast

Hosted by well-known cloud software solutions company, Salesforce, this “half rock concert and half industry show” will attract big-name leaders in politics, business and entertainment. The 2015 lineup includes Hillary Clinton, Tony Robbins and Bruno Mars. Dreamforce offers information and content specific to every business size and need. Whether your business has five employees or 5,000 employees, there are sessions designed for you.

During the month of April, bloggers, podcasters, traditional TV and radio broadcasters, and social media marketers come together in Las Vegas to join the revolution of new media, discussing the most up-to-date strategies and tools for disseminating information across markets. Participants will learn a great deal on content creation, distribution and monetization.

This may not be your average conference or summit. There are a few non-traditional activities held here in Portland, Oregon during the summer month of July. The sessions and workshops are designed to help ignite inspiration among business owners, providing tips on things like goal setting and positive thinking.

East Coast

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosts this summit in Washington, D.C. in June, bringing together over 800 business owners and chamber executives from across the Nation. In addition to breakout sessions, receptions and Blue Ribbon Awards, participants will hear from business and policy experts.

Ideal for small business owners who are looking to network with other executives in the region. The expo is a one day event jam packed with over 40 free seminars aimed at small business growth and management. C level executives, senior decision makers, small business owners and entrepreneurs from all over the Northeast region attend this conference and b2b trade show to increase their knowledge and accelerate their business growth.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council event in June brings female entrepreneurs and small business owners together to network, learn and share inspiration amongst one other. It will be held in Austin, Texas in 2015.

Attending business conferences and programs are investments to the future of your company. And like any investment, the more you put into it, the more you can gain. It’s essential to stay connected. Networking can be one of the most important things you can do to help your business grow. Making connections with other business owners can lead to an exchange of information and ideas – things that you may never have known or thought of on your own.
